Made sure I put on a good amount of sunscreen (those who saw me in Portugal last summer will remember why!) and went hunting for some good bargains. I'm in need of some good jeans since my trusty 12 year old Levi's have started falling apart, but might just have to pay my first student loan instalment before I go hunting for a replacement. I did buy my first hat though! And then I ventured down to Salamanka (the harbour area) in seraching for a wateringhole.
I chose an italian looking restaurant (which happened to be the most expensive one) with tables outside, ordered a Peroni and some food and started watching Saturday life around me.
