Australia has been gearing up for this public holiday for weeks now. Australian flags can be bought everywhere, there are aprons, hats, umbrellas, tattoos.... pretty much everything with an Australian flags!
I'm spending the day with the locum driving down south on a roadtrip. Picture to follow.
Mr. Bird is still alive and eating well. He came with me to work today and all the girls took turns feeding him. First name is still under discussion!
