Friday was a day off. But I went out to help one of the vets when she was on call.
Had to fight a bit with a 2 year old Arab stallion to get some drugs into his vein. But we got it in eventually!
Then off to do some radiographs of the stifle (Norsk: kne) of a horse with an unexplained lameness. It is still unexplained!
At night Kim and Bruce (the people I live with) took me along to go to the racetrack (Collonial Downs) where Kim almost won £140, but the betting machine had put the bet on the wrong race! Very anoying!
The night ended in a big fireworks display! Looked very nice !
Saturday morning I went along on a trail ride with one of the ponies from the barn. She is called Baily, and she took care of me :)
Think it must have been about 2 years since I was on a horse last.
Weather was lovely and so were the trails.
Off to celebrate the 4th of July later!
