Had a nice birthday today! Thank you for the birthday wishes!
Got a little presents from the people at the clinic: a hat, ear rings and some really cute socks.
They also bought cupcakes so will bring some Norwegian chocolate tomorrow and share that around.
Had a busy day driving around with Va.
Had several offers to go out to eat dinner, but went with the people I am staying with.
They took me to The Smokey Pig in Ashland. www.thesmokeypig.com
Had some great BBQ pork and mashed potatoes.
But the best thing about the place were the amazing Hush Puppies (= deep fried balls of corn bread).
