One of the many barn cats at Manakin Sabot Equestrian Centre.

And their nice dog Sasha, who loves to go on trail rides but has not learned to not walk in the middle of the road yet!

Due to all the air conditioning indoors and the fact that the lady I am staying with likes it to be really cold inside... I am glad I borrowed a hoodie before I left fairfax.

Tina, one of the vets dogs. A Yorkshire terrier crossed with a Jack Russel terrier. Very sweet, but get lots of ticks! Picked 3 off her on the drive to the first appointment on my first day here.

Attacked by Chigger mites. About 40 bites on my right legg and 30 on my left!

They itch like crazy, but seem to go away relatively quickly if you leave them alone.

Will try to take some more pictures in the barn tomorrow :)
