Sunday... the day for rest... and shopping

Headed in to Hobart today. Walking around the streets of North Hobart I stumbled over a garage sale selling rather expensive old, dirty furniture. Some of it would probably look nice if it got cleaned up.

I am on the lookout for a full lenght mirror, a new set of shelfs and potentially a writing desk.

Since I'm only in Australia for a relative short time I try to by cheap furniture, sometimes it will be new (like my shelves), but a lot of it comes second hand.

I also stumbled over an Italian celebration with a performer channeling his inner Tom Jones. The place was full of people looking more or less Italian and Italian food and drink. A bit busy for my liking, so I headed down to Hobart itself where I eat a massive slice of Carrotcake. Yum!

- a cork board

- blue shawl (potentially too difficult)

- blue baby trousers for baby Rory (born Valentines day)
