I know it sounds strange that I want to knitt knee hight socks in wool when I live in a warm country. But the winters here are really cold. There was snow on the mountain when I arrived in September, so I am preparing myself for the next winter.
So far they look like two headbands in a shade of grey a bit darker than on the picture. I have decided to knitt both the socks at the same time. I'm doing this because I want to try to get them as identical as possible.
Going well so far but will probably take me a while, but it is a great thing to keep my hands busy with in the evenings when I'm watching telly. (Sounding like a grandma, I know :P ).
I'll uploade some pictures when I get a bit further.
