I have lived in my little flat for over 2 months now, and I still only had one piece of furniture to sit on (a borrowed couch) so I ventured out today to buy a chair for my breakfast "bar".
I drove all the way to Hobart, a trip that took maybe 10 minutes... tried to find a discount furniture warehouse that I went to one time earlier. But after a lot of driving around I was not able to find it... so I gave up!
Drove back to the East shore and to the tip. Well... actually to the little store next to the tip where they sell things that are too good to just throw out. They do have a lot of junk as well... but I ended up with two very cute glass jars and a bar stool. Total price: $9!!
