Spent Saturday hanging around the flat and chatting to friends on Skype, then off to Hobart to hunt for a 5 year diary. I saw this type of diary on one of the blogs that I'm following, it has a page per date dividen into 5 small parts, so you can write a couple of sentences per day. Looking forward to looking back at it! I had no luck with my hunting, so I'm now awaiting the one I ordered from amazon.com .
It should be here in 18-23 days!
Sensible clothing shopping was also done.... several long sleeved work t-shirts, thick PJ trousers and some very cute slippers. They remind me of Christmas! I also bouth a hat for the colder and colder Tasmanian weather.
I also spent some time at Tasmanian Museum and art gallery ( TMAG ) for the Extreme environment photographic competition exhibition. There were some amazing pictures on display. Most of the picture were featuring the arctic or other colder areas, which suits since it marks the start of the celebration of the Antarctic centennial 2011-2012.
Check out all the pictures here.
Today has been a more practical day with car washing (which was quickly finished due to rain), food shopping, laundry, vacuming and unclogging drains! Now looking forward to meatballs for dinner!
Hope you have all had a great weekend!
