American Equine Adventure

For 5 weeks this summer I am returning to the US to do 5 weeks of Equine EMS in Virginia and then have a little holiday with my lovely host family!

Looking forward to it!

--------------------------------------------------------------
Jeanette has landed!
After 7 hours on a plane (with 40 films to choose from!), a few hours in New York and then 47 minutes on a small plane down to Washington!
I hate small planes!

Shopping and dinner with the family was lovely!
Definetly have to go back to Old Navy when I am back from "the deep, dark south"!
And the weather is definetly a lot warmer than Edinburgh!

Off to a graduation BBQ tonight to celebrate Kendall's high school graduation!

-------------------------------------------------------------

Think everyone had a great time at the graduation party last night! Good food and good drink!
And it was great to catch up with the people I spent quite a lot of time with during my year here earlier (2002/2003).
The host (Justin) is from the UK, so it almost felt like being at home :P

"Fathers day" dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Great food! and I am glad I have not forgotten my chopstick skills from last summer!

Of to the south of Virginia tomorrow to start 4 weeks of EMS (=work expereince). Hopefully will be a great experience and I will learn a lot!
Still don't know where I will be staying though..... time will show.
To be continued.....
